  1. I am not from the UK, so I am not quite certain was Simon complimenting this young lad by comparing him to Robert or not. I do know I have been blown away from performances from the UK on the X-Factor, but maybe I am biased I enjoyed Adam Lambert's version better and Randy compared him to Robert as well and that I know was a compliment.

  2. I'm not from the UK either, but it was totally a compliment. Besides there have been rumors since the Twilight Soundtrack came out that Simon has tried to get Rob to make an album.

  5. I love this song, I heard it for the first time in Donnie Darko soundtrack. I didn't like this version of it, and I agree with Iluvthemovies -- I don't quite get what Simon Cowell ment by comparing Aidan with Rob...

  6. Hi,@Iluvthemovies,..Yes I think it is a great compliment from Simon Cowell,..he said,"this is the second time I've been blown away by a performance, once was in america"..He also said about this singer being well into Robert Pattinson /Twilight thing,I think Simon is indirectly making a parallel comparison about Robert and this x-factor singer as both unknown..remember ,Robert was not a mega star yet,but his performance as Edward Cullen in Twilight had Blown people away all over the world ..so YES I think Mr Simon Cowell likes Rob and believes Rob is talented..Well that is my explanation and my view..ok..hugs to u all other favs,+Twilola...anyway where is Yaelfica? and Mrs.Deen?missing them..Hi guys hope ur ok!

  7. Thanks for your interpretations, ladies. I don't watch American Idol and I'm not familiar with the X Factor so your insights were quite helpful. Recognition of Rob's multiple talents is just everywhere these days; it just shows again how big he has become. He continues to serve as a role model for aspiring artists which is really the greatest compliment to him.

@twilightnan, I was just commenting about missing the other favs' comments in a previous post. Hope they are okay, too.
